Sneak peek on The New Land Cruiser 2020 GCC Edition

The Land Cruiser has been a favorite among motoring enthusiasts in the UAE for over 20 years and is a first choice for many as it offers the best of city driving and dune bashing thanks to its impeccable road handling and zesty off-road capabilities. Toyota has always strived to make the Land Cruiser the ultimate choice when it comes to comfortability and convenience and the brand never disappoints when it comes to their lineup.

We were fortunate to get our hands on the V8 version of the Grand Tourer that holds a 4.6 liter engine that’s spits 304 horsepower, all housed in a package that looks incredibly classy.

The cruiser has undergone a facelift in the 2020 edition, both inside and out. It comes with a number of standard features such as a combination of leather and wood trim for the steering wheel, a wood grain finish for the interior, powered seats finished in comfortable plush leather, a wireless charger at the reach of your hand that rests below the center console, illuminated front and rear door sill scuff plates, cruise control, centre console cooler box, and side curtain airbags and sunroof. We could comfortably live in here if we wanted to.

It even has a remote engine starter app, allowing owners to start and stop the engine from any part of the world – a feature many were anticipating Toyota would include in the latest edition of SUV.

This model targets those who are looking for a smaller V8 engine that holds all the comfort that the thirstier 5.7 liter model without guzzling as much petrol. When it comes to size, the Land Cruiser GT does not disappoint one bit. It is just as spacious as the 2019 model, if not more. In our opinion, the GT is the best option to buy as it meets the needs of anyone looking for an off road SUV that can be used for daily driving as well.

The Grand Touring edition comes with a price tag of AED 275,900, sitting right in between the 4.0 liter V6 version at AED 249,900 and the 5.7 liter big boy priced at AED 329,000 respectively.
