Nissan Unveils New Logo

Following in the footsteps of their European competitors BMW and VW, Nissan has decided to revamp their logo too. The simplistic, sleek logo was debuted at the reveal of the 2022 Ariya, Nissans new electric crossover. The Ariya will be launched in the US in 2021, and all following vehicles will carry the new badge.

Hopping on the minimalist trend, the new logo is as simple as it could get while still making a statement. Sleek and futuristic, the emblem is versatile in that it can be applied to any medium you could think of – whether LED formations, backlit plates, laser projected, or even simple advertisement posters, allowing the designers a huge degree of freedom for logo placement while creating new automobile designs. More importantly, the new logo is much better adapted for digital use and it’s just a matter of time before most automakers follow the same path and change theirs too. We’re talking about you, GM and Chrysler!
