The Gulf Car Festival 2016

The Gulf Car Festival was first launched in 2014 in Dubai, hosting around 400 show cars owned by motor enthusiasts from all around the GCC. This year, we were treated to the 2nd edition of the festival and it was much bigger than its predecessor. The event lasted over 3 days from the 14th to the 16th of April, showcasing some of the meanest mechanical beasts we have laid eyes on.

The show was hosted in a giant parking lot next to Bay Avenue in Business bay. Each day of the festival focused on a different automotive genre.

Day one: American Muscle. Mustangs, chargers, challengers ,Camaros and hummers everywhere you look.Personally, we felt that the camaro’s were the highlight of the day. So many of them, modified, painted, and many with incredible graphics.

Day two: Classics and supercars. In addition to the exhibition cars ,the regions best stunt drivers were unleashed onto the Action arena, where they performed vehicular feats that can only be described as movie worthy. Vin Diesel, you’ve met your match.

Day three: Tuners, trucks and JDM’s. Roars were all we could hear on Saturday. Motorheads who prefer the larger ones were more than pleased, considering the shortage of trucks on the road (compared to muscles and supercars).

We knew a tiny article wouldn’t be good enough for you guys, so we got some incredible footage, just for you.
